Jaime Malwitz

Jaime Malwitz is a WSN Key Leader and a WASDI Lead Teacher. Prior to retirement in 2002 Jaime was an elementary teacher in the Campbellsport school district. He currently serves as Director of Special Projects for the Sally Ride Academy and as adjunct instructor for Viterbo University. He was an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the National Science Foundation in 2002 -2003. Jaime is a member of NSTA and the Wisconsin Elementary and Middle Level Science Teachers and is a Polymer Ambassador for the Intersociety Polymer Education Council. Jaime developed and conducted a Scientist-in-Resident Program for seven school districts and currently serving additional districts. He is an active presenter at nine summer academies as well as several NSTA conferences each year. While in Washington he actively participated in Excellence in Science, Technology, and Math Education (ESTME) week at the Senate, House, Library of Congress, Department of Energy, and Capital Children's Museum.
