Pat Marinac

Pat Marinac currently serves as the Teacher Induction and Staff Development Program Leader for the Appleton Area School District. In this position, she is responsible for working with teachers new to the district and new to education. She assists with implementation of PI-34 in the district, including overseeing a mentor program and providing support to new teachers. She taught science at the high school and junior high school level for many years before assuming the Science Program Leader position in 1996.

In addition to her career in Appleton, Pat serves as adjunct faculty to many institutions of higher education teaching a variety of courses in teacher education, natural history and science and environmental education. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Wisconsin Environmental Education Board and represents the DPI on Wisconsin's Natural Areas Preservation Council.
