Melinda deCoriolis is Director of the Sally Ride Academy. A WASDI Academy, the Sally Ride Academy provides quality professional development and customized services to teachers and schools in the Milwaukee area. The Academy serves nearly 1,000 teachers each summer and 300 urban teachers and students during the school year. Melinda received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She was a former teacher, principal, curriculum director, and superintendent. Melinda reports this is her best job ever, working with creative colleagues who respect teachers and promote the best in science, math, and technology for all students.
